Vintage West Germany 8-Day Black Forrest Hunter's Cuckoo Clock Schmeckenbecher

Vintage West Germany 8-Day Black Forrest Hunter's Cuckoo Clock Incised writing in the Movement brass "GM" (on both sides), two sets of serial numbers, and the Maker's name: E. Hand written on the back door is "8 day". Written on the clock face is W.

Made in the early 1990's. This Authentic stamped and signed German made Cuckoo Clock is constructed from wood with a walnut finish.

It features carved hunting motifs, including a stag head with plastic antlers, two crossed hunting rifles, a hare, a game bird, and oak leaves. The clock face is chocolate brown and displays white roman numerals and white hands, the oak-leaf pendulum, and two pinecone-form weights each one weighing 2 pounds, 12.6 ounces - they has raised lettering that reads " 1260 BU". Untested- but will test upon request.

Time Keeping accuracy is not guaranteed as it hasn't been used and stored away for quite some time. Authentic piece from West Germany, hand carved. DIMENSIONS : The clock is approx. 24" tall x 14 1/2" wide x 10 1/2 deep (These measurements incorporate the top of the Deer Head antlers).
