Superb triple weight driven automaton musical cuckoo 8 day wall clock. The case has a fantastic Black Forest Swiss chalet design.

It has large proportions for a cuckoo clock. Their are superb hand carved decoration with a dog and cat to the front and a automaton lumber jack, a water wheel on the side and various other designs to give the chalet look. The whole case is in excellent condition and has a fantastic display look.

Wooden roman numerals & original wooden hands. The dial is in excellent condition. Rare triple weight driven musical automaton 8 day cuckoo movement. It strikes the cuckoo chime on the half past and on the hours as well as striking a gong. On the hour after the cuckoo strike the musical barrel is activated and plays the musical tune, while this is going on the automaton dancing figures, lumber jack and water wheel are activated and are all in full working order as you can see in the video above. Movement is full working order keeping good time as can be seen in the video above. The clock itself measures 15 inches high x 15.25 inches wide x 9.5 inches deep. The chain will give a 65 inch drop from the under side of the case on a full cycle. This is a perfect investment clock and a beautiful display piece. Looks absolutely fantastic wherever it is displayed and a true talking point of any room. Beautiful clock which will only grow in value and you will be hard pushed to find another like it.
