Engstler Schwarzwald Battery Musical Cuckoo Clock/New in its box

The Engstler Company is located in Villingen-Schwenningen in the Black Forest. The company is family owned and manufactures clocks over many generations. This one is a battery powered quartz movement that requires 3-C Cells battery to operate. This Cuckoo clock is well made from Linden Wood of the Black Forest of Germany. The Carvings has Deep Cuts and in New Conditions. We did removed it from the box to test-run it and its like new. The selector button on the left side has a Volume control then a selector for Music on with Coo-coo calls or Music Off or Completely Off selections the clock continues to run on any selections.

A Beautiful Cuckoo birds comes out at the top of every hour and flaps its wing as the coo-coo sounds. 10 inches high by 8 inches across and about 5 inches deep.

I've always wanted a mechanical cuckoo clock since I was a small kid. Still remember I pointed one out to my folks as we were waiting for a bus in front of a clock-maker's shop 4 decades ago. Unfortunately, my folks are of the practical no-nonsense stock.
