This is a battery-operated, quartz cuckoo clock. It is pre-programmed to automatically silence at night, between the hours of 9:00p to 6:00a. This clock does not have a volume control knob, but it has a switch that allows you to turn off the music and/or the cuckoo calls.This clock has buttons on the side of it, to synchronize the cuckoo sequence with hands (should they get out of sequence). The weights are plastic, for decoration.
