Vintage Large Black Forest Hunter Cuckoo Clock Bird Wood Carving West Germany

The clock is approx 20 inches tall not including the pendulum length. The deer & antlers are detachable. There was a small piece of wood glued back on off the leaf from the bottom left side (see last picture). I don't know how it works but it was working when taken down in grandparents home a couple of years ago.
