The cuckoo presents itself every hour to count the hour and the quartz movement chimes the cuckoo call with a waterfall background and features volume control and auto night off.

Height measurement is from the top of the clock to the bottom of the pendulum. In 1922, Franz Hermle founded the Franz Hermle Clock Company in Gosheim/Wuerttemberg, Germany. Within ten years the company became known as one of the most modern and efficient manufacturers of clock movements in the clock industry.
