This beautiful wooden clock is designed in the style of a Black Forest house and features a turning waterwheel, turning dancers and and moving rocking horse. It also has other decorative features as well as a wooden weight pendulum. This clock can be switched from cuckoo sound to music. The cuckoo calls on the hour with an echo.

It has 12 different tunes. Zhivago, Swan Lake, He was beautiful, Lorelei, Home sweet home, Sound of silence, Clementine, The Entertainer, Love theme of the movie, For Elise. The clock is made by Trenkle Uhren of Germany and measures 30cm (height excluding pendulum) x 29cm x 18cm. This clock requires three C batteries and the clock has a battery operated movement with automatic night shut-off and wooden dial, hands and weights. Trenkle have been manufacturing Black Forest cuckoo clocks, Black Forest clocks and weather houses in Simonswald in the Black Forest for more than 40 years.

Everything from the cases to the mechanism and the assembly is done in their factory. In the modern carpentry shop the screen printed wooden boards are sawn and processed further so that all parts of the case are carefully assembled. The mechanism along with other parts is stamped by hand from brass sheets, with wheels and retaining springs assembled carefully and then fitted into each case. Every item is meticulously tested and inspected before it leaves the factory.
