The clock is in excellent working order and last for approximately 43 hours on a full wind. The clock has a 3 train two part movement with a quail sounding once at quarter past the hour, twice at half past the hour, three times at quarter to the hour and four times on the hour with the cuckoo sounding out the corresponding number of hours on the hour after the quail has finished.

The three bellows have been refurbished with new leather so are all working very well. The case has unfortunately suffered some woodworm damage at some point during its lifetime, but this is old and not active.

Some of the damage is visible on the front of the clock (See last two pictures). The numerals have all been replaced at some point. The curved top of the clock has had some work done and does have replacement carved wooden decorations on the top which although not original look nice and do not look too out of place. The clock comes with a key and pendulum. This is a large clock measuring 58cm tall, 36cm wide, 20cm deep and weighs 6kg.
