I bought this clock brand new at the New Orleans World's Fair in 1984. Look at one of the photos - From the top of the deer's antlers to the bottom on the ornamental carving, it's about 3 feet tall! It is a most impressive piece. Since 2014 it has been in storage when we moved to our new home. When it was mounted and on display, it worked perfectly.

However, there are some small items that you may want to fix - see the photos. The tips of a couple points of the deer antler are chipped. Some wood stain will make the light-colored area disappear. There is a crack across a wooden band- see the close-up photo with the crack highlighted with blue.

The clock has a musical movement from Cuedet in Switzerland that plays Edelweiss. The cuckoo pops out and the dancers rotate as well. These are mechanical marvels, and I recommend you have the clock gone over by a clockmaker or a handy person before mounting it on your wall. I used a 50-foot roll of bubble wrap to pack the components (they attached easily with one or two screws) together in a new, large Uline brand box. It will arrive in the same condition in which it was packed, you may rest assured.
