There is a rotating dance platform above the upper balcony with four colorful wooden dancers mounted to it. And there are four, hand painted wooden musicians with instruments on a pivoting platform behind the lower balcony.

The clock has a fitted wood back and latches securely. The bellow tubes are in good shape and the tops look and sound good too!

At the bottom of each hour, a colorful bird opens the small door above the dance platform and stands in the doorway. He gives off a single cuckoo sound in tandem with a nice sounding chime inside the case before retreating back inside the clock, closing the door behind him.

Once he is safely inside, the musicians turn left and right as the dance floor begins to turn and the dancers twirl about while a heavenly rendition of "Der Frohliche Wanderer" (Happy Wanderer) or Holzerhackerbub'n Marsch (Happy Lumberjack).
