The clock is in excellent working order cuckooing and chiming once at half past the hour and the corresponding number of hours on the hour. The case is decorated with beautifully carved woodwork. The side doors do not fully shut due to age related shrinkage of the wooden case which is quite common for clocks of this age. The left-hand door top hinge has unfortunately broken. The wood plate movement Is in very good condition and works very well.

The bellows have had new leather fitted recently and are in very good working order. Based on design characteristics of the movement and similarities to photos and other clocks I own I believe this movement to be a traditional Ketterer 50-hour movement, but does last approximately 65 hours on a full wind. The clocks minute hand does unfortunately have a section of the bone missing around the centre spindle, but it has been repaired by someone with brass so it nice and strong and works well.

Also the 7 numeral is a replacement. The removable top crown has also had two breaks which have been repaired. The clock comes with a pendulum and key.

The clock measures 46cm high, 31cm wide, 20cm deep and weighs 4.7kg. I have embedded a short video below to show the clock working.
